Ian Glavinovich Named to Team of the Matchday 5
Glavinovich becomes the fifth Union player this season to be named to Team of The Matchday
For the fourth time in five weeks, the Philadelphia Union have yet again another player in MLS' Team of the Matchday, with Ian Glavinovich earning a spot on the bench.
Glavinovich made his first start of the season (second appearance) against St. Louis CITY, playing 71 minutes and scoring one goal in the Union's 1-0 win, which sees the Union atop the Eastern Conference with a 4-1-0 (12 pts) record.
He finished with four clearances, two interceptions, two ball recoveries, and won 3/3 of his aerial duels.
With Glavinovich's appearance in Team of the Matchday, the Union have had a total of five different players included in the team, with Tai Baribo leading the way with two appearances.
