The Philadelphia Union secured their biggest away win since their 6-0 thrashing of DC United two seasons ago, with a 5-1 victory over NYCFC. Mikael Uhre and Tai Baribo both continued their hot form, Uhre scoring his third consecutive goal, while Baribo has netted 15 goals in his last 17 appearances. Eighteen-year-old homegrown goalkeeper Andrew Rick was the star of the night, making seven saves and earning his first MLS victory. With that win, the Union moved into the final playoff spot as the ninth seed, with 33 points. The Union play again this Sunday against DC United, as they look to further distance themselves from the teams behind them.
